![]() It is now well documented that they are linked with a range of poor health outcomes including obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. But these foods are also generally higher in salt, fat, sugar, and contain artificial additives. Ultra-processed foods are often relatively cheap, convenient, and heavily marketed, often as healthy options. Ultra-processed foods are food items which have been heavily processed during their production, such as fizzy drinks, mass-produced packaged breads, many ready meals and most breakfast cereals. Researchers from Imperial’s School of Public Health have produced the most comprehensive assessment to date of the association between ultra-processed foods and the risk of developing cancers. At the very least, it would stop op-eds like this from being written and I think we can all agree that would be a win.Higher consumption of ultra-processed foods may be linked to an increased risk of developing and dying from cancer, an Imperial-led study suggests. But my point is, there is a wide, wide world out there, and it’s full of adjectives that can excellently describe your multi-overpowered super phones, so let’s explore language a little bit and inject a little bit of the spice of life into our phone names. Or, it’s possible something has gone really right it’s frankly too hard to tell. But when sandwiches are being named after your phones, something has gone off the tracks. Granted, some of these don’t exactly roll off the tongue. While we’re at it, let’s talk about the Xiaomi Molto Bene.
